“I’m Thinking of Ending Things” Review

From the first sentence of the book I was hooked. It started out as a mystery novel and ended with the biggest plot twist I’ve ever read. As a reader one can start to see patterns in books, but I didn’t see this one coming.

The narrator of the story seems wary the entire time, always looking for a reason to end things. I felt a sense of dread that only increased with every passing page.

The narrator describes a road trip to have dinner with her partners parents. They’ve been together six or seven weeks, and already she’s having doubts about the relationship. Her doubt only worsens the more she gets to know him.

If you’re looking for a book that will keep you up at night, this psychological thriller is definitely worth the read! I can say with certainty that it will be in my memory for a long time.

  1. Thank you! I’m gonna pick it up. I just read “Klara and the Sun”, which I recommend in turn. I’m heading in to Bruce tomorrow to say hi to people, I’ll be there from like 8-9am.
