Don’t Forget to Breathe

Can’t snooze today gotta wake up and see what the cat threw on the ground at three in the morning (I hope it’s not the ceramic cup I got for Christmas) don’t forget to text the group chat about the house we need a forwarding address soon and find out where you can rent boxes and can you also find out when your sister is free so she can come to pick up clothes you don’t need anymore? About that, please finish sorting through all the clothes you own because there are shirts in there I haven’t worn in years but do that as soon as you can please, stop to take a breath even though it hurts, is it a sore throat? Am I getting sick? No time for that gotta make it to the train before it leaves without me and remember when you get on the train to start reading the new book to review can’t read it when you get to work because the bus was late that’s okay you still have time to put your lunch away anyway start on some new years crafts cause they’re easy and come out nice no matter how the kids paint and while they’re sleeping start on the birthday and primary caregiver wall, is it my turn to have a break yet? When you take your break call your dealership about the incorrect car registration and call your Doctor back about switching to a stronger medication, did I feed the cat this morning? Yes, I did actually after cleaning up the glass she broke but anyway make a list of all the things you need to do and (BREATHE, BREATHE, BREATHE) there is NO TIME TO PANIC so I need to purchase a license plate, make myself a dual citizen, pack, and read three books at the same time, maybe just two we’ll see, oh also that other paperwork stuff and don’t forget to post a blog this week when was the last time I showered? I’m probably good but you have that foam stuff just in case and work on the blanket at least a little bit a day or you’ll never get it done it’s okay if you don’t have time for a bath this week but DONT FORGET TO BREATHE.

About Me

Hi there! I’m thrilled to have you join me on my blog. I write fiction, nonfiction, and everything in between.

In my free time, I like to keep busy with a variety of hobbies. I’m an avid reader and writer, I love to knit, crochet, and embroider.

At the end of the day, though, my main priority is spending time with my loved ones. Whether it’s traveling or just spending quality time together, I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by those I care about.
